A man wanted for shooting at a store clerk outside of a Lehigh Valley cigar shop on Friday, 7/31, after he was asked to wear a mask was arrested on Saturday after a shootout with police. 35-year-old Adam Michael Zaborowski of Slatington, PA, is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, robbery, reckless endangerment, and persons prohibited to possess a firearm. Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf dispelled rumors that his administration would be shutting down schools statewide this fall as the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic continues. "There are widespread rumors that I will soon be announcing a statewide school building closure or cancelling classes this fall. They approved the recommendations of individual sport's steering subcommittees and the Sports Medicine Advisory Committee. All sports will follow the Pennsylvania Department of Health restrictions. The warning period for speed cameras installed along the Roosevelt Boulevard is about to expire. Cameras were installed in eight locations on June 1. There has been a 60-day grace period where speeders were just sent warnings. The vendor in charge of the cameras said the volume of warnings is one of the highest in the country.
