Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band played to a sold out crowd last night at the Wells Fargo Center for the second of two shows in South Philly. The band has grown to 17 members for this tour including two gospel singers, a percussionist and a 5 man horn section. Clarence Clemmons' nephew Jake Clemmons is on saxophone.

Free tickets for the first 10 days of opening of the new Barnes Foundation gallery on Benjamin Franklin Parkway between 20th and 21st Street are still available, but they are going fast according to a foundation spokesperson. She said the greatest chance to get a ticket would be on the nights of Memorial Day weekend, May 26 - 28. Those days offer around the clock access to the gallery. The Eagles are considering legal options against Odd Future vocalist Frank Ocean because of his "Hotel California" rip off track "American Wedding". The track appears on Ocean's 2011 mix tape "Nostalgia, Ultra". The tracks liberally borrows from the melody of The Eagles signature song and is unmistakable, although the lyrics are completely different.

The Monkees lead man, Davy Jones, has passed away today at age 66. The singer was at Martin Memorial Hospital in Florida on Wednesday after suffering a heart attack.
The British star started his career on television as a child actor on the UK soap opera "Coronation Street".
