It is been rumored by an anonymous inside source that Beyonce is planning a surprise appearance at her husband's eclectic "Made in America" Festival in Philadelphia. As audience members are coming from all over the country to attend, these rumors only increase the excitement for this coming weekend. The rumors are made more believable seeing that Ron Howard is using footage of the festival to create a documentary, which I'm sure Beyonce and Jay-Z would want to share. This also means that Blue... US District Judge William H. Yohn sees no difference between feeding the homeless outside at City Hall or outside in city parks along the Parkway, or that it is better or any more dignified on the concrete compared to the grass. He will be extending his temporary injunction against the enforcement of Mayor Nutter's city law banning outdoor feeding of groups larger than three for at least a year. This should give the city and various religious and secular groups plenty of time to come up with a... Read More

Excessive Heat Watch for the Weekend, Wildfires Raging Out West

  by: Hailey - Collegeville, PA
started: 06/28/12 1:11 am | updated: 06/28/12 1:11 am

Get ready for another heat wave this weekend. An excessive heat watch is in effect from Friday 12pm until Sunday 8pm. Temperatures look to be near 100 degrees on Friday, while cooling off slightly for Saturday and Sunday, which will be closer to the mid-90s. Be sure to look out for signs out of dehydration (thirst, dry mouth, dizziness, and rapid heartbeat) and to drink plenty of water. Urban areas will feel even hotter due to the larger amount of asphalt and concrete that retain heat. Read More

Camden Water Outage/Boil Tap Water, Sandusky's Son Accuses Abuse, Dow Jones Drops 251

  by: iradioal - Philadelphia, PA

Camden's water supply has run critically low. Residents living west of the Cooper River are being advised to boil any water coming from the tap used for preparing food, making ice, or brushing teeth. People who have been illegally popping fire hydrants due to the hot weather may have contributed to the dangerous drop in water pressure throughout the city. This is extremely dangerous for the community since firefighters responding to fire will not be able to pump water from the hydrants.... Read More
