A contractor working at the intersection of Spring Garden and South Egg Harbor roads in Winslow Township, Camden County, hit a 6-inch gas main causing a leak on Tuesday, 5/14. It happened around 11:30 a.m. Water and debris spewed from the hole like a geyser. Nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution. South Jersey Gas was on the scene to stop the leak and begin repairs. An investigation is ongoing after a brawl broke out on Saturday night, 5/11, between dozens of teens at a church carnival in Norristown. It happened around 8:30 p.m. at the Saint Francis Spring Carnival. Officers responded to a report of a fight involving more than 50 kids on the last night of the four-day festival. SEPTA Police Chief Tom Nestel announced a $6,000 reward for information that leads to the arrests of two suspects wanted in the shooting of a SEPTA Regional Rail conductor. Police have released surveillance footage from the train showing the two suspects on the platform just before the botched robbery. Every Mother's Day for 28 years, the Susan B. Komen Foundation has hosted the Race for the Cure at the Philadelphia Art Museum to raise funds and bring awareness to the fight against breast cancer while celebrating survivors and remembering those who have passed. Philadelphia Police say that a 6-year-old girl who was believed to have been abducted in a stolen car earlier on Saturday afternoon, 5/11, has been found safe. It started at 2:20 p.m. when a navy blue Chevrolet Impala with the girl in the back seat was reported stolen from 56th and Warrington Streets in West Philadelphia. A Montgomery County jury has found the man accused of killing 36-year-old Main Line model Christina Kraft in her Ardmore apartment guilty of first degree murder. 31-year-old Jonathan Harris of Johnstown, PA, was also convicted of kidnapping, possession of an instrument of a crime, strangulation, robbery, theft, and receiving stolen property. Pennsylvania State Police received multiple calls on Tuesday morning, 5/7, from drivers on I-95 in Philadelphia about a man traveling southbound on just the rims of his car. It happened around 6:30 a.m. near Allegheny Avenue. The black BMW had been driving for about 10 minutes with no tires. Police pulled him over and took him into custody under suspicion of DUI.
