Delaware Trooper Injured By Vehicle; Strong Winds Cause Damage; Man Shot in Neck in Front of Family

A Delaware State Trooper was injured after being dragged by a vehicle in Mill Creek on Monday afternoon, 2/25. It happened around 2 p.m. near Kirkwood Highway and Ferrand Drive. The trooper was directing traffic because of malfunctioning traffic lights. For an unknown reason, the trooper talked to a driver of an SUV that was stopped. Philadelphia Police are searching for a 'serial attacker' wanted for at least nine sexual assaults in South Philly since the end of December. The latest attacks happened on Thursday night, 2/21, and early Friday morning, 2/22. The pattern of assaults started on December 20th. The male suspect is targeting women late at night. A water main break in Cherry Hill, NJ, on Thursday evening, 2/21, closed two lanes of Route 70 eastbound between Cornell and Sayer Avenue. The incident attracted news helicopters to the area, and some Phillies fans found the opportunity to send a 'big' message to team executives. A 4-year-old North Philadelphia boy's death has been ruled accidental after he fell onto a piece of broken glass in his home on Wednesday afternoon, 2/20. A Winter Storm Watch will be in effect for all of the Philadelphia area from Wednesday morning through late Wednesday night for heavy mixed winter precipitation. Trash trucks and other heavy equipment arrived at a New Jersey apartment complex on Tuesday morning, 2/19, for the first time in weeks. Over 30 dumpsters at the Crestbury Apartments in Camden, New Jersey, were well past overflowing with trash and garbage bags. The refuse was starting to attract animals and of course the smell.
