Police are investigating after a 9-year-old girl was killed by a stray bullet while inside her home in Cumberland County early Tuesday morning, 7/17. Gunfire broke out around 12:30 a.m. at Elmer and Walnut Streets in Brigeton, NJ. Several parked vehicles were hit by the gunfire. 9-year-old Jennifer Trejo was inside her home about a block away and was struck by a bullet that came through the rear wall. A memorial service is scheduled for the Philadelphia real estate developer who was stabbed and killed last week during an altercation with a bicycle delivery man near Rittenhouse Square. The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office is investigating after police shot and killed a man in Vineland, NJ, on Saturday, 7/14. Police were called to a residence on W. Wood Street, between Boulevard and 4th Streets, around 11:30 a.m. for a man acting suspiciously. The interaction between police and the man was caught on video by a passerby. Bucks County police are looking for a person of interest after a woman was found stabbed to death inside her car on the side of the road on Monday morning, 7/9. It happened around 6:45 a.m. on the 3100 block of Hulmeville Road in Bensalem. 43-year-old Teresa Priestly called 911 saying she was in danger.
