LOVE Statue Returns on Tuesday; Trump Jr.'s Wife Opens Letter w/ Powder; Man Abducted, Set on Fire

The LOVE statue will return to LOVE Park/JFK Plaza in Center City Philadelphia tomorrow, Tuesday February 13th, just in time for Valentine's Day. It was removed a year ago as the park underwent renovations. The LOVE sculpture itself was also restored and repainted with it's original colors (red, green, and purple). Among the many exciting moments the Super Bowl Championship Eagle players have been through the past week, another one was added to the list. Two-time Oscar nominated actor Matthew McConaughey bought out a full page ad in Sunday's Austin American-Statesman newspaper to congratulate Eagle's Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles, who is a fellow Texas native. An inmate just-released from a Philadelphia prison was shot and critically injured after trying to car jack a correctional officer in the prison's parking lot. 26-year-old Jamal Bennett was discharged from Curran-Freehold Correctional Facility on the 8000 block of State Road around 10:30 p.m. Friday night. Man Stabbed At Eagles Parade; ATM Skimmer In Bucks Co.; Day Of Eagles Championship Celebration

Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a man was stabbed on the Ben Franklin Parkway during the Eagles parade on Thursday. The incident happened at around 10:30 am, police say that the man was stabbed once in the right side of his chest. The man was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital where he is listed in critical condition. So far no arrests have been made.

Philadelphia Police have stated that 8 people have been arrested as a result of the rowdy celebrations in Center City after the Super Bowl. However, police officials have said that there are a number of people still being sought. Police are searching for a number of suspects who are wanted for breaking into an A.C. Moore store using a metal pole. Another suspect is wanted for smashing the Macy's storefront window. A group of suspects are also wanted for trashing a Sunoco Aplus minimart.... Read More

SEPTA has announced that as of 1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon they have SOLD OUT of all 50,000 special Independence Passes for travel on Regional Rail to and from the Eagles' Super Bowl parade on Thursday. Fans lined up at stations as early as 3 - 4 a.m. to purchase a pass. Weekly and Monthly transpasses as well as prepaid senior/reduced fares will also be accepted. Philadelphia Police are searching for a man who is wanted in connection for the sexual assault of a 22-year-old Drexel student. The incident happened at the student's apartment located on the 3400 block of Race Street at around 6 am on Saturday, January 27th. Police say that the suspect was seen driving away in a dark grey Ford SUV. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Philadelphia Police.

The City of Philadelphia has announced more information on Thursday's Eagles' Super Bowl parade. Millions of fans are expected to come out and celebrate the city's first Super Bowl win and first NFL championship in 58 years. The parade will start at 11 a.m. at Broad & Pattison in South Philadelphia and head north towards City Hall.
