| A car crashed into the icy Delaware River in Burlington City, New Jersey on Sunday afternoon leaving the female passenger dead and the male driver in police custody. It happened around 1 p.m. on the 100 block of Riverbank Road near Wood Street. The car was speeding down the road when it hit a parked minivan and then went over the river wall. The victim told police that he was out drinking on New Year's Eve at a bar in Manayunk. The two women approached the man and started talking with him.
