A car crashed into the icy Delaware River in Burlington City, New Jersey on Sunday afternoon leaving the female passenger dead and the male driver in police custody. It happened around 1 p.m. on the 100 block of Riverbank Road near Wood Street. The car was speeding down the road when it hit a parked minivan and then went over the river wall. Police in California have arrested the friend of a University of Pennsylvania student who was found dead in a park after being missing for a week. The Orange County Sheriff's Office says that 20-year-old Samuel Lincoln Woodward of Newport Beach was taken into custody on Friday. 19-year-old Blaze Bernstein went missing on Jan. 2nd. Almost one thousand gathered to remember and say goodbye to Philadelphia Fire Lt. Matthew LeTourneau today who lost his life fighting a fire last Saturday. The funeral mass was held at Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Philadelphia. Firefighters from around the area stood outside to watch as his casket was brought inside. Bensalem police are now searching for two women who are wanted for allegedly drugging a man and then robbing him. The victim told police that he was out drinking on New Year's Eve at a bar in Manayunk. The two women approached the man and started talking with him. Dr. James Kauffman, accused of hiring a hitman to kill his wife and running a pill mill from his New Jersey doctor's office, appeared in court on Thursday via video. Kauffman was already in custody.
