Rock Legend Tom Petty passed away on 10/02/17 at the age of 66. According to his manager, Petty suffered a cardiac arrest at home in Malibu and was taken to the UCLA Medical Center. He could not be revived and passed away surrounded by family, bandmates, and friends on Monday night.

| A Pennsylvania little league and youth wrestling coach from Shippensburg has been identified as one of the 59 victims killed in the mass shooting at a country music concert in Las Vegas on Sunday night. Bill Wolfe Jr. was a coach for the Shippensburg Little League and well as the Shippensburg Greyhound wrestling team. He worked as a professional engineer. One pedestrian was injured Monday morning after they were struck by a SEPTA bus in Center City. Police have stated that the pedestrian was struck by a Route 27 SEPTA bus at the intersection of Broad and Vine Streets at around 9:30 am on Monday. The victim was then taken to a local nearby hospital. The extent of the victim's injuries is not known at this time. The incident is still under investigation.

Many family members and friends came to honor and remember loved ones lost. Chester Police are now investigating after a man was shot and killed in a Delaware County home. The shooting took place on the 1400 block of Kerlin Street at around 9:30 am on Sunday. Police were called onto the scene after they received reports of gunshots in the area. Officers arrived on the scene to find a man shot multiple times. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, so far no arrests have been made.

Jennifer Morrissey is charged with murder, burglary, tampering with evidence, and other offenses in the death of 64-year-old Michael McNew in Washington Crossing.
