Police have now placed a suspect in custody after he injured a man in a hit and run accident in Center City. The incident took place at around 2:20 am on Broad street near Lombard Street. Police have stated that the driver hit the victim and then sped away, his car was later spotted by an officer at 13th and Catherine Streets. Police say a man wanted for questioning in a Haverford Township fatal shooting on Saturday is also connected to an earlier shooting incident in Philadelphia. Authorities released images of the man yesterday. He was seen running from the shooting after 6 pm on the 2300 block of Haverford Road. Haverford Township police have released a photo of a man wanted for questioning in connection with a deadly shooting on Saturday afternoon in Ardmore. The shooting happened just after 6 pm outside an apartment along the 2300 block of Haverford Road near Wynnewood Road. Medics arrived to find the man shot and lying in the doorway to his friend's apartment. He apparently had just picked up an order at the pizza shop up the street and was heading to his friend's. The Philadelphia District Attorney's Office has filed charges against a Frankford man for shooting and killing the couple next door during a dispute. 69-year-old Kenneth Hoyle is charged with two counts of first degree murder. He is accused of shooting 45-year-old Bob DePaul and 42-year-old August Dempsey. It happened on July 16th on the the 4700 block of James Street. Police in Gloucester County are now investigating a fatal crash that took place in Franklin Township on Thursday. The crash happened at around 6:30 pm on the 3100 block of Delsea Drive. Police say that a mini van crashed into a car at the location and one of the persons involved in the accident was pronounced dead at the scene. The other injured victim was taken to a local hospital. Police are still investigating into the crash to see what the cause was.

Philadelphia Police are asking the public's help in identifying a man wanted for burglarizing a mosque. The same man was caught on surveillance cameras twice breaking into the Islamic Society of Greater Philadelphia Mosque at 7252 Roosevelt Boulevard in the Northeast. On both July 12th and July 17th, the unknown black male forced open the back doors. Once inside he stole money from collection boxes and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. A large fight was caught on cell phone camera during the Center City District Wednesday night Center City SIPS event last night. It happened around 6:30 pm at the Commerce Fountain plaza near 20th and Market near the Comcast Center. The video shows around 6 individuals grappling with each other and throwing punches as a big crowd cheers and throws liquid, cups, and cans. Police are now investigating after two officers and a civilian were injured in a car crash Wednesday night. The incident took place on Stetson Avenue and Upsal Street in the East Mount Airy section of Philadelphia at around 9 pm. An officer was responding to a call of a person with a gun, when he struck the rear of the civilian's vehicle. All of the victims were taken to Einstein Medical Center for treatment. A Montgomery County man is now in custody for allegedly supplying drugs to a woman while she was in the hospital that ultimately led to her overdose death. On May 6th, 30-year-old Ciara Hadrick was found unresponsive on the bathroom floor of her room at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery on West Germantown Pike in East Norriton.
