The Chester County District Attorney's office announced the deaths of two drug counselors who overdosed on heroin and fentanyl inside the recovery home they managed on Sunday afternoon. Emergency personnel were called to Freedom Ridge Recovery Lodge on Freedom Valley Circle in Wagontown around 2:15 p.m. when residents found the two house managers unresponsive in their rooms. Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a shooting occurred in the Olney section of Philadelphia that left one man in critical condition. The shooting took place on Nedro and Mascher Street at around 7:30 pm on Tuesday. Police have reported that a 23-year-old man was shot six times. When police arrived on the scene they found him with two gun shot wounds to the stomach, one in each arm, one in his shoulder and one on his right side. Philadelphia Police say that the man who owned the building in North Philadelphia where a pregnant woman was found dead after a fire over the weekend has been found dead himself after taking his own life. 34-year-old Anthony Eubanks committed suicide overnight last night after being contacted by police. 35-year old Tavonia Love was found dead inside a burning building in the 2100 block of West Susquehanna Avenue. Philadelphia Police have now arrested two men after a 13-year-old girl was stabbed three times in the Logan section of Philadelphia. The stabbing took place on North Broad Street near Wyoming Avenue at around 4:30 pm on Monday. Police arrived on the scene and quickly rushed the girl to Einstein Medical Center where she is currently in stable condition. Police have made two arrests in the case, but have still not found the weapon as of yet.

The Chester County District Attorney's Office announced the arrest of a man accused of sucker punching a man with cerebral palsy outside of a convenience store earlier this month. The incident was caught on surveillance video (watch below). 29-year-old Barry Baker of Coatesville is charged with assaulting a 22-year-old disabled man. A man has now been hospitalized after he was tased by police in North Philadelphia. The incident took place on the 3100 block of North 24th street close to 7 pm on Sunday. Police received a call reporting a domestic dispute at the location. When police arrived, they tried to handcuff the man, but he allegedly became aggressive with police.
