Philadelphia is ranked number one for smartphone thefts, according to a new survey by AAA. So far this year, there have been more than 3,500 cell phone thefts in the city. Mayor Nutter joined state Attorney General Kathleen Kane and New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman to support a new national initiative called Secure Our Smartphones, or SOS for short. The members of Fleetwood Mac announced this weekend that the band will be canceling all of their upcoming tour dates in Australia and New Zealand, scheduled for November and December. The band explained, "John McVie, one of the co-founding and original members of Fleetwood Mac is now scheduled to be in treatment for cancer during that period of time." After splitting from the Velvet Underground in 1970, he went on a prolific and influential solo career spanning the decades. Police are questioning a driver today after videos appeared on the internet of a black convertible with the top down driving down the Art Museum steps before speeding off. There were several people on the steps cheering him on and other cars lined up at the top at the time. The incident happened at midnight on Thursday.
