The man accused of killing a model in her Main Line apartment this past summer appeared in court for a preliminary hearing on Friday. 30-year-old Jonathan Harris of Johnstown, PA, is charged with the murder of 36-year-old Christina Kraft in her Ardmore condo on Sibley Ave early in the morning of August 22nd. A Havertown, Delaware County, man has been arrested and charged with raping a 14-year-old old that he met on the Whisper app. 22-year-old Joseph Valiquette is charged with rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with a minor, statutory sexual assault, and other charges. Officials revealed that the car explosion last Saturday night, 9/29, in Allentown was intentionally detonated as part of a planned murder-suicide. Sometime overnight Tuesday, 10/2, a several thousand pound granite and bronze statue of a Viking explorer located at the top of Boathouse Row along Kelly Drive was toppled over and into the Schuylkill River. The statue of Thorfinn Karlsefni has stood there since 1920. Karlsefni was an Icelandic explorer who followed the path of Leif Eriksson to North America in 1010 AD. Authorities have identified the three victims who died when a car exploded in Allentown over the weekend. 27-year-old Jacob Schmoyer and 2-year-old Jonathan Schmoyer, along with 66-year-old David Hallman were killed and suffered traumatic injuries from the explosion according the the coroner. Two Philadelphia police officers have been arrested for improperly stopping a man and falsifying reports. It happened around 10:10 a.m. on April 17 on the 100 block of East Sharpnack Street. Officers Matthew Walsh and Marvin Jones stopped a man for apparently using narcotics. They frisked him because he refused to take his hands out of his pockets and released him without charges.
