Today's hearing on Mumia Abu-Jamal's Post-Conviction Relief Act petition in Philadelphia was pushed back to August to allow for more time to locate missing documents. The defense cites bias and conflict of interest involving State Supreme Court Justice Ronald Castille. As a justice, Castille denied Abu-Jamal's post conviction appeals. A South Korean woman has been charged with killing her 92-year-old mother at a senior living community in Bucks County on Saturday morning, 4/28. 63-year-old Sung Hee Kim was arrested and charged with murder. Warminster Police responded to the Charter Arms Apartments on Potter Street at 7 a.m. for the report of an assault. They found Kim's mother unconscious on the ground. Pennsylvania Republican Congressman Pat Meehan, who settled a sexual harassment complaint by a former aide using taxpayer money, has resigned from Congress today Friday, 4/27. Meehan denies any wrongdoing and believes he would have been exonerated, but did not want to put his staff through an investigation. Bill Cosby was found guilty on all counts in his sexual assault retrial. The jury deliberated for 14 hours over two days after a two-week trial to reach their verdict. Cosby was charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault against Andrea Constand. The incident happened in 2004 in his Cheltenham, Montgomery County home. A Bucks County mother has been charged in the DUI crash that killed her 8-year-old son and injured a married couple. 37-year-old Kelly Anne Colbridge of Warminster is charged with homicide by vehicle while DUI, aggravated assault by vehicle while DUI and other offenses. The victim in last night's Main Line murder-suicide near Villanova University in Radnor Township has been identified. 33-year-old Meredith Sullivan Chapman was found shot to death in a home she recently moved in to on the unit block of Lowrys Lane. Officials were at the scene of a building collapse and possible explosion in Point Breeze on Monday night, 4/23. It happened after 7:30 p.m. on the 1200 block of South 20th Street. Witnesses heard a loud boom and saw the front facade of the row home fall off of the building and onto the sidewalk and street below. The body of a Philadelphia woman who was missing since late December 2017 was found on Friday afternoon, 4/20, in the Poconos. 24-year-old Nicole Murray's body was discovered at the rear of a property on the 500 block of Foliage Drive in Blakesee, Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County.
