| A former student opened fire at a South Florida high school on Wednesday afternoon killing at least 17 people. It happened at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL, about 45 miles north of Miami. Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel says 19-year-old suspect Nikolaus Cruz is in custody. | An employee of the pharmaceutical company Merck & Co. has been accused of stealing potassium cyanide for use as rodent killer. The Montgomery County district attorney's office reported that 60-year-old Richard O'Rourke stole around 220 grams of the chemical from the lab located in Upper Gwynedd Township. | The LOVE statue will return to LOVE Park/JFK Plaza in Center City Philadelphia tomorrow, Tuesday February 13th, just in time for Valentine's Day. It was removed a year ago as the park underwent renovations. The LOVE sculpture itself was also restored and repainted with it's original colors (red, green, and purple). Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a man was stabbed on the Ben Franklin Parkway during the Eagles parade on Thursday. The incident happened at around 10:30 am, police say that the man was stabbed once in the right side of his chest. The man was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital where he is listed in critical condition. So far no arrests have been made.
