Wolf Signs PA Real ID Bill; Over 30 Injured in NJ Bus Crash; Chip Kelly Heads to ESPN

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf has signed legislation that will bring the state's identifications into compliance with the federal 2005 Real ID Law. Those new driver's licenses should be available in early 2019. The deadlines for the Real ID standards will come before 2019. Wolf says he hopes to get a waiver until the new Pennsylvania ID's are available.

Police are now investigating after a robbery occurred at William Penn Charter School in the East Falls section of Philadelphia. The robbery took place at the school which is located on the 3000 block of School House Lane at around 10:30 pm on Wednesday. Officials say that the break-in took place in the office area of the school, and a security guard stated that he saw 4 teenage suspects running away from the area. Philadelphia Phillies Hall of Fame 3B Mike Schmidt was at City Hall today joined by Mayor Jim Kenney and representatives from the Richard David Kann Melanoma Foundation to announce a new initiative in the city. The city will be installing 20 automatic sunscreen dispensers in popular outdoor areas across town. They work like hand sanitizer machines. The Chester County District Attorney has issued additional warrants for the suspect accused of punching a man suffering from cerebral palsy in a parking lot in West Chester earlier this month. 29-year-old Barry Baker of Georgetown, DE, was caught on surveillance camera on May 10th mocking the disabled man before sucker punching him in the face. The Atlantic City police department has now opened up its new high-tech surveillance center. The Atlantic City Headquarters for Intelligence Logistics Electronic Surveillance, or ACHILES for short. The surveillance center was built in the public safety building by funding from the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority. The Philadelphia Police Department headquarters is going to be moving from the Roundhouse to the White Tower of Truth. The police administration has been located at 750 Race St. since 1963 and began looking for a new home during Mayor Nutter's administration. The Chester County District Attorney's office announced the deaths of two drug counselors who overdosed on heroin and fentanyl inside the recovery home they managed on Sunday afternoon. Emergency personnel were called to Freedom Ridge Recovery Lodge on Freedom Valley Circle in Wagontown around 2:15 p.m. when residents found the two house managers unresponsive in their rooms. The shooting took place on Nedro and Mascher Street at around 7:30 pm on Tuesday. Police have reported that a 23-year-old man was shot six times. Philadelphia Police say that the man who owned the building in North Philadelphia where a pregnant woman was found dead after a fire over the weekend has been found dead himself after taking his own life. 34-year-old Anthony Eubanks committed suicide overnight last night after being contacted by police. 35-year old Tavonia Love was found dead inside a burning building in the 2100 block of West Susquehanna Avenue. Philadelphia Police have now arrested two men after a 13-year-old girl was stabbed three times in the Logan section of Philadelphia. The stabbing took place on North Broad Street near Wyoming Avenue at around 4:30 pm on Monday. Police arrived on the scene and quickly rushed the girl to Einstein Medical Center where she is currently in stable condition. Police have made two arrests in the case, but have still not found the weapon as of yet.
