Lawyers representing 17 people injured when a railing collapsed at a Snoop Dogg/Wiz Khalifa concert in Camden, NJ earlier this month have filed a lawsuit against the venue and the performers. The suit claims that enough precautions were not taken to ensure the safety of the concertgoers. The lawsuit was filed in Philadelphia by attorney Robert J. A strong earthquake in central Italy reduced three towns to rubble as people slept early Wednesday, with reports that as many as 75 people were killed and hundreds injured as rescue crews raced to dig out survivors. The toll was likely to rise as crews reached homes in more remote hamlets where the scenes were apocalyptic "like Dante's Inferno," according to one witness.

24-year-old Zachary Tricoche was arraigned today in Camden County Superior Court on murder charges in the death of 2-year-old Jamil Baskerville Jr. Prosecutors allege that Tricoche was upset and got into an argument with his girlfriend, the boy's mother, for buying the wrong groceries. A roller coaster somehow got stuck at Hersheypark, and riders had to be evacuated from the structure, marking the second time a coaster has stopped working at the park in less than a week. Hersheypark officials say The Sidewinder "experienced a stoppage" at 3:30 p.m. Monday, and workers escorted all 27 riders safely off it. Philadelphia area retailers have moved quickly to capitalize on the new liquor reform laws recently passed in Pennsylvania. The new law, effective August. 8, means approved grocery stores, restaurants and hotels can now sell up to four bottles of wine per customer for takeout. Officials speaking on the condition of anonymity told the Associated Press that some pills discovered inside Prince's Paisley Park estate were mislabeled and actually contained a significantly more powerful drug. The autopsy results released in June state that Prince died of an accidental fentanyl overdose. Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid 50 times more powerful than heroin.
