Co-Pilot Found Intoxicated, PA Turnpike 70 MPH Change, Man Charged in Stabbing

A Philly bound flight from Detroit was cancelled on Saturday after the co-pilot was suspected of drinking at the airport before the flight. TSA officials said that on Saturday morning they noticed the co-pilot acting odd while getting on the plane. He was taken off the plane and breathalyzed where he was found to be over the limit for a pilot. The pilot still awaits to see if he will face charges.

Two American citizens have been confirmed killed in this week's attacks in Brussels. Sister and brother Sascha and Alexander Pinczowski from New York were last heard from at the Brussels Airport before the deadly terrorist bombings in the Belgian capital. According to reports, they were on the phone with their mother when the explosion killed them.

Philadelphia Parking Authority has now announced that their ticket kiosks will now accept credit cards once again. The credit card option was down for a short period of time due to problems with processing, but the machines have now been fixed. In addition to credit cards, customers can still also use cash or coins. People can also pay for parking by using the Philly Parking Authority App Meter Up.

Investigators are finding that there are links between the bombings in Brussels this week and last year's deadly attack in Paris. ISIS has claimed responsibility and now a second suspect is being sought in connection with the Brussels attack.

Two Men Shot and Killed in Philly, Police Find Human Bones, Felony Lane Gang Brought in Court

Two men were killed in a shooting that happened in the Frankford section of Philadelphia. The shooting happened at around 2:30 yesterday afternoon on the 1600 block of Pratt Street. The two 30-year-old men were found on the scene with multiple gunshot wounds. The two men were rushed to Temple University where they were pronounced dead. As of now no arrests have been made.

A Bernie Sanders mural in Philadelphia generated a violation, but now L&I says it made a mistake. The developer, Max Glass, received a letter Monday from L&I saying the mural, on the southeast corner of 22nd and Catharine Streets, was not properly permitted. Glass, 28, who is part of a pro-Sanders group that created the mural, said he considered the mural artwork. Governor Chris Christie announced yesterday that the state of New Jersey won't loan money to help Atlantic City from closing its town hall. Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian announced yesterday that the city is going to have to close it's City Hall for a couple of weeks starting April 8th because of financial circumstances. Gov. Christie stated that the Assembly should approve a takeover measure that is passed by The Senate.

Explosions caused by suicide bombers rocked the Brussels airport and subway system this morning, prompting a lockdown of the Belgian capital and heightened security across Europe. At least 28 people were reported dead. A spokesman for the Brussels Metro said 15 people were killed and 55 injured in an explosion on a train, and Belgian media reported at least 13 dead in two explosions at the airport, with many others injured.

Police have arrested a woman who stole money from St. Martha's Parish School book fair in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia. 29-year-old Sarah Higgins was arrested on Sunday morning after she was found to be the woman in the surveillance footage of the robbery that took place in February. Higgins stole a lock box that had about $1000 in it. She is now charged with burglary, criminal trespass, as well as many other charges.

In the NCAA Tournament Villanova started the day yesterday with a convincing win to move into the Sweet 16 to face Miami. In the last game of the night, St. Joe's lost in a battle with #1 seed Oregon. The Hawks trailed by 5 at halftime, then rallied to take the lead late in the game. But a final push in the nail-biter put Oregon on top to advance 69-64.
