Council Rock Teens die in SUV Crash; Made in America Singin' in the Rain; Showboat Casino/HOB Closed

Three sophomores at Council Rock High School South in Bucks County were killed this weekend in a SUV crash in the Poconos. The crash occurred on Saturday morning in Paupack Township near Lake Wallenpaupack in Wayne County about 70 miles north of Philadelphia. Two Champion Teams from Broomall-Newtown; Cyber Attacks on Banks; Made in America Fest

We'll be celebrating another youth baseball champion this week. Last night, the Broomall-Newtown 15 year old team won the Babe Ruth World Series knocking off a team from North Carolina. Last Friday, the 13 year old age group also won the World Series defeating a team from Arizona. There will be a parade Sunday at 4 pm at the Newtown Square Shopping Center honoring both teams.

Philadelphia Police are investigating after a man was shot and $70,000 was taken in the parking lot of a shopping center in Northeast Philadelphia. A 37-year-old male was robbed when he pulled into the parking lot. Police say he was shot once in the arm. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Police are searching for two male suspects wearing masks, last seen in a white van, possibly a Dodge Caravan, driving south through the parking lot towards Cottman Avenue.

Police in Jerusalem, Israel say that the body found near a forest is that of the missing student from New Jersey. 23-year-old Aharon Sofer from Lakewood, NJ, had been missing since Friday when he went on a hike with a friend in the woods. The two became separated and Aharon wasn't seen again. The body was found about a mile from where he was last seen. Two men posing as police officers robbed a food distribution center in Fishtown and got away with about $100k in cash. It happened Wednesday just after 2 am at the Kawa Food Distribution Center just north of Center City. Just as the center was preparing to open, two men with police caps, a badge and guns ripped video recording equipment from the walls and left with two bags of cash.

This Labor Day weekend, Jay-Z and Budweiser's Made In America Music Festival will take over Fairmount Park right here in Philadelphia. The two day music festival is back for a third year. Nearly 50 performers on four stages along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Saturday and Sunday, doors open at noon each day at Eakins Oval, near the Art Museum. A husband fatally shot his wife before turning the gun to wound himself this morning in a South Jersey hospital. Later, the couple's adult son was found shot to death in their home. 63-year-old Raymond Wychowanec went to visit his wife 62-year-old Denise Wychowanec at 9:25 a.m. in Kennedy University Hospital on E. Bodies Pulled From Schuylkill; Fat Camp for Dogs; Made In America Schedule

The bodies of two men were pulled from the Schuylkill River along Kelly Drive this morning. Both were bound with duct tape, had been stabbed several times and tied to makeshift anchors. A third man was found alive stabbed and bound. According to his account, he was abducted by 5 men who stabbed, robbed, and bound him with duct tape and thrown into a van with two others. He is expected to survive. Police are sorting through evidence attempting to piece this one together.
