All this week, Sacha Baron Cohen, has made it clear he wanted to attend the Academy Awards tonight as his character from "The Dictator." As is always his schtick, Cohen, doesn't just put on a costume and show up to a party, his embodies that costume as an extreme method performance. The Oscars were not going to let him come, but eventually let in, probably hoping he wouldn't cause too much of a scene.

Kevin McGuire of Somerdale, Camden County, New Jersey is battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He was first diagnosed when he was 13. Now 18, He is now being treated at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for a relapse of the leukemia.

Kevin is now a senior at Sterling Regional High School. His sister, Victoria, came up with the idea to have Taylor Swift attend Prom with Kevin. “I tried thinking of a kind person who would make me feel OK. And laugh,” he said.... Read More

A group of Philadelphia artists claimed the Grammy for Best Children's Album this week. All About Bullies Big and Small is a collaborative effort that included songs, stories and poetry from local artists including Eric Bazilian, John Flynn, Grover Silcox, Cyndy Drue, Debbi Calton, Steve Pallura, Skip Denenberg, Little Steven Van Zant and others.

Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band sax man Clarence Clemons passed away in June and now the Big Man's nephew, Jake Clemons will be asked to help fill his sizable shoes on tour with the Boss.

Philly fans will see the entire new lineup when Springsteen comes to town March 28th and 29th.

Fresh off her Super Bowl halftime performance, Madonna has announced her World Tour. Philadelphia will be the first stop in North America after stops in Europe. Last Night, the Phillie Phanatic made a guest appearance on NBC's 30 Rock. He never takes a break, even in the off season.

2012 Philadelphia Flower Show Theme Announced

The plans for the 2012 Philadelphia Flower Show have been announced.

This year's theme is "Hawaii: Islands of Aloha." New technology will play a role this year, including special video effects, and new motion graphics that will transform waterfalls into lava flows and breaking waves.

The layout of the Flower Show has been changed, and a Flower Show "app" has been created, which will be available February 20th.
