Detectives in Berks County are investigating after the body of a young woman was found in the woods off a rural road on Sunday night. 23-year-old Madison Walb of Reading was found by Lower Heidelberg Township police off Riegel Road. An autopsy on Monday ruled the death a homicide, but the cause of death has not yet been determined pending a toxicology report. Police believe she was killed elsewhere and dumped at that location. A Temple University student was shot and killed by police after running over an officer while fleeing from an accident in Miami on Sunday. 22-year-old Cariann Hithon was in South Beach celebrating her birthday. An 84-year-old woman is now in critical condition after she was struck by a car in the Fox Chase section of Philadelphia. The incident took place on the 8000 block of Pine Road at around 4:30 a.m. Police say that the woman was struck by a silver Chevy Malibu while she was crossing the street. Police are now asking for the public's help in finding a man who has gone missing. 72-year-old George Ran Hudson was last seen on Saturday at his home on the 2700 block of North 20th Street. Hudson's family says that he suffers from dementia and walks bent over. He is described as a black man, 5' 4" with brown eyes and gray hair. Bucks County Police have seized around 6 kilograms of heroin hidden in a pickup truck on the streets of Bensalem. Police pulled the truck over and seized the drugs totaling around $4 Million, they also arrested the three men inside of the truck. Police announced today that a woman who claimed to have been raped by two men in a Bucks County park on Monday has admitted to making it up. Pennsylvania State Police investigated the alleged rape and determined that it did not occur. The woman had claimed that two men abducted her while she was on the boat dock in Nockamixon State Park late Wednesday afternoon. Penn State University has now suspended one of its fraternities after a student suspected of drinking was found unconscious. University officials are currently investigating Delta Tau Delta's involvement in the incident after the 18-year-old student was found unconscious near the frat's house back on September 28th.
